Closing an exhibit ...
We're in Bittersweet Confections, 111 Jail Alley, Quincy, Illinois, celebrating the end of a month-long exhibit of my paintings and Michael Vera Eastmond's photographs, an exhibit inspired by a road trip Michael and I took to South Dakota last July. Standing, David Kroner, who read poetry; me; Michael holding Pricilla Mitchell, daughter of Michael and Nadine Mitchell, owners of the shop. Kneeling are Paul Wood, drums, and Logan Kammerer, acoustic guitar, who supplied us with joyous music. We are standing in front of Michael's photographs.
