Here's something ...

FOR the local school board — and it's tax-hating critics. As my late father-in-law would say when his daughters would complain about school, "Well, let's just stay home and be ignorant." Maybe that's what too many parts of the country has been doing?

    Well said. Unless and until our fair city and its residents recognize the many values of a good education, Quincy is destined to remain a place where we attract and keep businesses that provide low-paying jobs.
